Acroview Programmer Supports XHSC Xiaohua Semiconductor's 32-bit Microcontroller HC32F4A8SITB

The chip programming leader, Acroview Technology, while launching its new version of programming software, simultaneously announced a further expansion of the compatible chip model coverage. Notably, its universal programming platform, the AP8000, has now completed comprehensive adaptation with Xiaohua Semiconductor's 32-bit microcontroller HC32F4A8SITB, providing efficient and stable professional programming solutions for customers in related fields.

The HC32F4A8SITB is a 32-bit Cortex-M4 microcontroller based on the ARMv7-M architecture, introduced by Xiaohua Semiconductor. It integrates an FPU (Floating-Point Unit) and MPU (Memory Protection Unit), supports DSP functions with SIMD instructions, and features an ETM (Embedded Trace Macrocell) and CoreSight standard debugging unit. The chip operates at a maximum frequency of 240MHz, delivering a computational performance of 300 DMIPS or 825 CoreMarks.

The AP8000 universal programmer, independently developed by Acroview Technology, has become a benchmark professional programming solution in the industry. This device supports flexible and adjustable one-to-one and one-to-eight configuration modes and offers both online and offline operation modes. It has developed dedicated programming solutions particularly for memory chips like eMMC and UFS, comprehensively covering the bare die offline programming and on-board programming needs of Xiaohua Semiconductor's full chip series. The AP8000 adopts an innovative modular design with three core modules: Main Unit, Baseboard, and Socket Adapter, granting the device excellent compatibility and expandability. As a universal programming platform, it can not only adapt to various programmable chips on the market but also, with its stable and efficient performance, serves as the core component of Acroview's automated mass production programming equipment, the IPS5800S, efficiently handling large-scale chip programming tasks to meet mass production demands.

AP8000_Universal Programmer_Chip Programmer

The AP8000 Main Unit features flexible connectivity options, equipped with both USB and NET interfaces, enabling convenient networking of multiple programmers. Through the networking function, users can easily achieve synchronized control of multiple programmers for efficient parallel programming operations. In terms of safety, the Main Unit has built-in intelligent safety protection circuitry that monitors chip placement status and circuit connections in real-time. Upon detection of abnormalities such as reversed chip insertion or short circuits, it immediately triggers a power-off protection mechanism, comprehensively safeguarding the chip and programmer. The Main Unit is internally equipped with a high-speed FPGA chip, significantly improving data transmission and processing efficiency, ensuring a smooth and efficient programming process. To enhance ease of use, an SD card slot is located on the back of the Main Unit. Users simply need to store the project file generated on the PC onto an SD card, insert it into the slot, and can then use the programmer's physical buttons to complete file selection, loading, and programming operations, enabling independent operation without a PC. This design not only reduces dependency on computer hardware configurations but also simplifies the workspace setup process, significantly improving operational flexibility.

In terms of expandability and compatibility, the AP8000 adopts a modular combination design of Baseboard and Adapter boards, effectively extending the functional boundaries of the Main Unit. Currently, the device already supports products from all major semiconductor manufacturers, covering well-known brands such as HAAWKING, XHSC, ZHIXIN, SAMSUNG, and KIOXIA. It supports a wide range of device types, including NAND, NOR, MCU, CPLD, FPGA, eMMC, etc., and is fully compatible with various industry-standard file formats such as Intel Hex, Motorola S, Binary, and POF, providing users with a one-stop, full-scenario chip programming solution.
