Acroview Programmer Supports Fortior Tech's Motor Drive Specific Chip FU6862Q

Acroview, a leader in chip programming, has announced the expansion of its compatible chip model coverage with the release of a new version of its programming software. The company’s core product, the universal programming platform AP8000, has now achieved full adaptation for Fortior Tech's motor drive specific chip, the FU6862Q.

The FU6862Q is a high-performance motor drive specific chip integrating a Motor Control Engine (ME) and an 8051 core. The ME integrates numerous hardware modules such as FOC, MDU, LPF, PID, and SVPWM, enabling hardware-automated computation and control for sensored/sensorless BLDC motor/PMSM FOC drive/square wave drive. The 8051 core handles parameter configuration and daily tasks, with the dual cores working in parallel to achieve various high-performance motor controls. Most instruction cycles of the 8051 core are 1T or 2T. The chip integrates high-speed operational amplifiers, comparators, pre-driver, high-speed ADC, multiplier/divider, CRC, SPI, I2C, UART, various timers, PWM, and more. It also features a built-in high-voltage LDO, making it suitable for square wave and FOC drive control of BLDC/PMSM motors.

The AP8000 main unit features flexible connectivity, equipped with both USB and NET interfaces, enabling convenient networking of multiple programmers. This networking capability allows users to easily achieve synchronized control of multiple programmers for efficient parallel programming operations. In terms of security, the main unit includes an intelligent safety protection circuit that monitors chip placement status and circuit connections in real time. Upon detecting abnormalities such as chip reverse insertion or short circuits, it immediately triggers a power-off protection mechanism, safeguarding the chip and programmer. The main unit is equipped with a high-speed FPGA chip, significantly improving data transmission and processing efficiency for a smooth and efficient programming process. For enhanced convenience, an SD card slot is located on the back of the main unit. Users can store PC-generated project files on an SD card, insert it into the slot, and complete file selection, loading, and programming via the programmer's physical buttons, enabling standalone operation independent of a PC. This design reduces dependence on computer hardware and simplifies the working environment setup, significantly improving operational flexibility.

In terms of expandability and compatibility, the AP8000 uses a modular combination of baseboard and adapter boards, effectively extending the main unit's functionality. The device currently supports products from all major semiconductor manufacturers, including SK Hynix, Micron, Sandisk, ASR, Kingston, and other well-known brands.
