Acroview, a leader in chip programming, has announced an expansion of its compatible device portfolio alongside the release of its latest programming software. Its universal programming platform AP8000 now fully supports Aurasemi’s 3‑rail digital multi‑phase controller AU4683B‑QMR, providing customers with efficient and reliable professional programming solutions.
The AU4683B‑QMR is a 3‑rail digital multi‑phase controller that supports SVI3 and PMBus communication protocols. It can be used with Aurasemi’s AU4851 smart power stages to implement a multi‑phase voltage regulator (VR) solution with a minimum of external components.
The rail/phase combinations of the AU4683B‑QMR are flexibly configurable. The device provides on‑chip NVM for storing and restoring device configurations. Device configuration and fault parameters can be easily programmed or monitored via the PMBus interface. The AU4683B‑QMR can monitor and report output current by sensing the CS output of the AU4851 devices.
The AU4683B‑QMR features an easy‑to‑configure single‑power‑loop compensation for steady‑state and load‑transient conditions, enabling fast transient response to load steps with minimal output capacitance.
The AU4683B‑QMR also provides active current balancing and automatic phase shedding for improved thermal and efficiency performance. It includes input and output voltage monitoring, temperature monitoring with selectable protection features, and programmable load lines per rail.

Upon detecting abnormal conditions such as reverse insertion or short circuits, it immediately triggers a power‑off protection mechanism to safeguard both the chip and the programmer. The mainframe is equipped with a high‑speed FPGA chip that significantly enhances data transfer and processing efficiency, ensuring a smooth and efficient programming process. For added convenience, an SD card slot is provided on the rear panel.
